Where all my Fat feet sisters at?
(From the front to back, are you feeling that!?). So, yeah. Being a tall girl a lot of time means big goofy looking feet to go with it. Luckily for me I have fairly cute sausage toes that I quite love, however, it can be tricky finding the right shoes for these barking dogs! As you guys know i'm an educator on a budget so I have to try and balance finding well priced shoes with style and quality. Cato fashions is pretty much my go to for affordable shoes. They go up to a size 11 (some 12's online) and their price range is under $40 (however if you watch their markdowns everything will be under $20 eventually). You guys know i'm trying to overhaul my style so let me know what you think about these shoes i've added to my closet to get me started! I've tried to put together some inspired outfits so give me your thoughts on those as well!
Navy 2piece loafers
I wore these today actually, and I felt like the fresh diva of belair. For some reason the mules and loafers look are coming back this season and I think i'm finally old enough to actually enjoy the trend. So picture this: These shoes, ultra skinny crisp white jeans (preferably Calvin Klein) with a little cuff at the bottom; a skin tight classic red/white/blue Tommy Hillfiger polo, AND lastly a 26 in nasty bone straight middle part lace wig. Is that doing to much?r
Polka Dot 2 Piece Flats $14.99
There are 2 types of people in this world. Those who love polka-dots and those who hate them. I am of the latter. Polka dots (especially black-white) will always be a staple in my closet. Pointed toe flats will ALSO always be a staple in my shoe closet no matter one. Black, white and red will always be one of my favorite color combos so I would love to pair these with so cute red chinos and a crisp white oversized button down.
Pink Slip on canvas mules $10.99
I have never in my life worn a "mule". Up until this year I really avoided any backless shoes because I think they make my feet look bigger. They still make my feet look bigger BUT I've seen some really good plus size fashion bloggers show me how to rock them so now i'm basically in love. I'll keep ya'll updated on if I can actually pull off the look! Pray for me that I'm not slipping and sliding everywhere in these slip on shoes!
pearl slide sandals
I think these are my favorite. Pearls can be classic, they can be sexy, they can be be edgy - all depending on how you dress them up. So basically I can flip these bad baby 3 ways! I think these will be perfect when you want to dress up an out you would normally wear your old Birkenstocks with. These shoes are so cute and dainty I hope they will inspire feminitiy/boho-chicness, in my wardrobe.
Olive Braided Cut Out Shooties $13.99
Even though boot season is on its way out, olive green is definitely not! Navy and Green have emerged as stable color trends for the last few years so even if I can't rock these often this summer, they will still see the light of day. Since they have the cutouts they won't be too hot and I could pair them with some dark denim and/or crisp white!
Just an awkward black girl trying to put some RESPEK on my name. I'll be covering your anti-typical "I'm really cheap but I still want to look decent" fashion topics, and your " I only buy make-up less than 10$" beauty topics. As a business owner read about my entrepreneurial journey, and as a hopeless romantic, read about my struggles to find love . If you really real, share, comment and subscribe!
